If you’re gonna be using this camera while paintballs are flying, I would consider a waterproof housing – Nothing too fancy (you’re not taking it on a dive down 600 feet) but something that will protect your camera and can be washed.
This will limit your choices (especially by price) but something to keep in mind.
While not a video camera, the Olympus Stylus 1030 SQ (http://www.olympusamerica.com/cpg_section/product.asp?product=1363) is shockproof from 6 ft drops, waterproof to 33 feet and will take video (even underwater) with sound.
