if someone were to hire you to do something unlawfull it would be your burden to prove you were hired, although you would still get the majority of the heat for actually carrying out the unlawfull act. I would think the same applies to copyright infringement.
How far can Copyright laws be extended? say for instance, could someone Copyright a Nickname? and seek damges if anyone else uses it?
