I have the Sony FX1000 and I’m loving it so far. Search on youtube for Sony FX1000 and you will find helpful hints to help you in your selection. One being it’s use in low light situations, which are great. I just recently shot a basketball game in a gym and the footage was great. Not like my old 3CCR $800 Panasonic camera that would always go out of focus when it hits the lights and 10X zoom. However, at the time, I thought my 3CCD camera was great, other than the out of focus issues I had to deal with, the colors were fantastic. With thenew camera I don’t have those problems. I’m shoting the games at 30P and the footage looks great in HD. Now I just usemy old camera as a backup.
