I am using SONY MDR-7502 headset. I believe it’s on the cheaper side of the professional line.
I don’t use professional monitors in my office, just regular SONY VAIO.
In the news production all around the world FOSTEX 6301 is a standard. Can’t beat that.

I remember using RAMSA system from Matsushita at some point. It was great.
It depends on what are working on. If you are aiming for TV viewers, make sure it sounds good on regular TV. Likewise, all the CD’s are supposed to sound good in the car stereo.
