“hz” typically refers to the refresh rate of CRT monitors and LCD panels, though in the case of a video camcorder, it may actually refer to frame rate. Most camcorders, however, don’t shoot inboth 50fps (PAL) or 60fps (NTSC). If it’s the refresh rate of your camcorder’s LCD/viewfinder, I’d go with 60hz. If the camera’s”computer lag”picks up with this setting, I’d go with the lower refresh rate of 50hz.
