Hi, belatedly I see your posting here. Did you resolve the problem, or give up? You can get Windows to view the MOV output from this camera by purchasing Calibrated’s codec called calibrated {Q} XD Decode (don’t ask me to justify the name syntax!).

This codec handles the XDCAM EX encoding. I really enjoy this camera and do my video processing with relatively low cost packages including reading the .mov files directly into tmpgenc for compression. Or Corel VideoStudio. Or Corel MovieFactory.
