What are you currently using? There's definitly an amount of compression happening there.

 

For online upload I would suggest a .mp4 wrapper with the H.264 codec. Then it's a matter of chainging the bit rate to get some good quality compression. Something around 5mb/s should be good. So in a break down:

 

.mp4

H.264 codec

5mb/s

Two pass encoding
