Depends which you are look

Depends which you are looking for, Monitors or speakers. I certainly wouldn’t use the speakers built into a monitor for editing!

And, as has been noted above, it depends on the depth of your pockets. I get on fine with a pair of 22″ Viewsonic monitors and a set of Labtec speakers, both budget end, but usable.
