Daniel Bruns, thank you so much! I am EXTREMELY new to filming using a DSLR and have lots to learn. I'll look into getting one of the ones you suggested. Do you happen to have a go to source to learn about all this type of stuff, or just something you have picked up on over time? 

 

I'll be using a tripod for most shots as far as I know, maybe every once in a while I'll have it in hand, but probably not. By the sounds of it, I'll be going with the 50mm. Thank you again for all your help, it was beyond what I expected.
