At 75, I qualify as an old fart. To keep my bowels 'regular' (and to prevent constipation and piles and to forstall bowel cancer) for breakfast I have All Bran (for fibre) plus pitted prunes with warm 'skinny' milk. So god bless Wheat Growers, Prune Growers and Dairy Farmers where-ever they may be. I was part-raised on an Aussies cattle and sheep farm in the 1940s and have fond memories of it:
