rykertylerHi there, been doing some research and found out that “gaming headsets” actually suck in terms of sound because so much is sacrificed. Been looking to buy a game custom or mmx 300 from beyerdynamics , was hoping to get reccomendations as well. For game custom I heard that no amplfier is needed even though it is of a lower Ohm rating than mmx 300 ? Iirc the lower the ohm the harder to drive , https://www.applock.ooo/ thus requiring a amplfier. Right now I am leaning towards the mmx 300 but I am not sure if a amplifier is needed and if it is really worth it .
