You can also introduce still pictures (jpg.) into your video in the editor, and provide some narration while leaving the still pic on for 10 seconds or so. You can even zoom in to some elements of the still pic by adding crops of the jpg in the video sequence. This will give you more detail than cropping the frame in the video editor. For just talking to the camera 30 fps will be fine. Adding jpgs to the sequence will introduce high quality stills to the video.
