Sorry, I don’t want to guide you through trouble shooting your video. What is puzzling to me is that if you uploaded the same mp4 obs video file, rendered and exported it in Premiere Pro, to youtube as you did a screenshot of in VLC, it should look the same on VLC and Youtube. So then your obs 1080P settings and premiere pro 1080P settings shouldn’t matter because the Premiere Pro output looks fine in the VLC screenshot. You are viewing the Premiere Pro video in 1080P in VLC, so viewing it in 1080P on Youtube should look the same. 480P degrades the image, essentially like watching a movie on a DVD instead of in HD . I can’t figure out why this is happening either. The only thing I can offer is the workaround I already have of brightening and over saturing the video in Premiere Pro and see if that gives you a better look on Youtube.
If you want to be sure youtube is not the problem, upload the same video you are watching in VLC to vimeo.
