here’s my advice for inexpensive options:

sony has a bluetooth wireless mic that fits the acessory shoe, as well as a mini zoom shotgun mic that fits the shoe, both are adequet for amatuer uses, and the bluetooth mic is quite handy.

I use a rode video mic and a L bracket to mount it on for serious work.

Sony also has a wireless lav mic, that will also serve amatuers well… I use it for personal work, and rent the pro equipment when needed.
