Phottix Debuts a Larger LED Light with the Kali600

Phottix, a light manufacturing company, has just announced a new LED panel that’s larger than its hotshoe Nuada series, the Kali600.

It’s the first light featured in Phottix’s Kali series of LEDs, which follows after its Nuada LED series. The panel has 600 LEDs and emits light temperatures ranging from 3200K to 5600K, so you’ll be able to switch between daylight and tungsten using this light. It also offers a maximum brightness of 3000 Lux. Both the brightness and color temperature can be controlled with a wireless remote as well.

The Kali600’s light temperatures range from 3200K to 5600K and it has a CRI rating of 95+

It sports a CRI rating 95+, which is great. Usually, lights that run between 90 to 95 or above are most desirable. And it’s designed for both outdoor locations and studio work and can be mounted to a stand.

Additionally, the two battery plates accept Sony NP-type batteries, or the light can be powered with its supplied AC adapter. Barndoors and a diffuser are included.
