Videomaker, Inc., a leading innovator in video production tools and education, is happy to announce its new partnership with the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) for the upcoming 2024 PLURAL+ Youth Video Festival. This year’s festival, focused on fostering a dialogue on migration, diversity and social inclusion through video storytelling, will see Videomaker, Inc. play a pivotal role in recognizing young filmmakers.
As part of the partnership, Videomaker, Inc. will be tasked with reviewing the shortlisted video submissions to determine which entries will be honored with the PLURAL+ 2024 Videomaker Recognition. This inaugural prize will spotlight emerging talents and provide recipients with a free Videomaker Plus Professional subscription, empowering them with top-tier resources to enhance their filmmaking capabilities.
The PLURAL+ Youth Video Festival invites young creators up to the age of 25 to submit their original videos, ranging from one to five minutes. Submissions can be of any genre (documentary, animation, comedy, music video, etc.) as long as they constructively address the issues of migration, diversity and social inclusion.
Selected films will be showcased at the 16th edition of the Plural+ Annual Ceremony, scheduled for Fall 2024 in Portugal. The deadline for submissions is May 31, 2024.
This collaboration underscores Videomaker, Inc.’s commitment to nurturing a new generation of video storytellers who are keen on making an impact on global societal issues. It also underscores Videomaker, Inc.’s dedication to providing educational resources that support the development of young creatives worldwide.
