Sony Alpha Female+ grants cash, gear to female creators

Sony kicks off this year’s Alpha Female+ program by offering 12 grants to 12 talented female filmmakers and photographers. The grants will help fund the winners’ projects with up to $8000 in cash and Sony Alpha gear.

The way the program works, you can apply with one project per grand period. There are 12 grants in total, so you’ll be able to apply with 12 projects. So you can apply with one project per month for the next year. The first grant deadline is May 2, 2021.

“Sony Alpha Female provides a platform for photographers and videographers to share their stories and inspire the world with their creativity, passion, and drive.
