RØDE Wireless Micro owners can claim a free Wireless Micro Camera Receiver

RØDE launched its new Wireless Micro Camera Receiver last month. It’s the ideal companion for the RØDE Wireless Micro, so you can deliver high-quality audio to your cameras as well as your smartphone. Even better, if you already own the Wireless Micro, you can pick up a Wireless Micro Camera Receiver free of charge.

Wireless Micro

The RØDE Wireless Micro is a compact solution for capturing high-quality audio with your smartphone. You get two tiny clip-on microphone transmitters and an equally small receiver that attaches to your mobile device via USB-C. If you use an iPhone, you can also connect to your smartphone with Bluetooth via the RØDE Capture app. This means you don’t even need to use the receiver. In addition, the transmitters and receiver all come in a charging case that provides up to 21 hours of use. The RØDE Wireless Micro has a transmission range of over 328 feet (100 meters), and you can choose between a white or black color scheme.

Wireless Micro Camera Receiver

RØDE has designed the Wireless Micro Camera Receiver to be the ultimate companion to the Wireless Micro. It connects simply and easily to the two Wireless Micro transmitters. You can then connect the Wireless Micro Camera Receiver to your camera via the 3.5mm TRS output for analogue audio. Alternatively, you can use the device’s USB-C port to supply a digital audio signal to a computer.

Also, the Wireless Micro Camera Receiver has a dedicated gain control so that you can perfectly balance your audio-in levels. With a battery life of up to 18 hours, the receiver will last a full day of recording as well.

Claiming your free receiver

Whether you already own a Wireless Micro or you are about to buy one, it’s easy to claim your free Wireless Micro Camera Receiver. All you have to do is register your Wireless Micro on RØDE’s website and pay a small shipping fee.

What we think

The RØDE Wireless Micro is a neat and simple way to record high-quality audio with your smartphone.
