ProGrade Digital announces new PG25 Pro Thunderbolt 5 Dock

ProGrade Digital has announced its latest dock solution. The ProGrade Digital PG25 Pro Dock supports the fastest Thunderbolt 5 technology, which is designed to achieve 80 Gbits/sec transfer speeds.

Design

The ProGrade Digital PG25 Pro Thunderbolt 5 Dock is a compact device. It measures just 7.5 inches (190 mm) by 2.9 inches (70.8 mm) by 2.5 inches (62.6 mm). The case has a magnetic top base so that you can attach up to two ProGrade Digital readers or a Pro Mini SSD. It also features a patented magnetic base and comes with an adhesive metal plate so that you can mount the dock to any work surface. Additionally, the PG25 Pro Dock has both Kensington Standard and Nano security slots to help keep your device safe from theft.

Ports

The front of the PG25 Pro Dock has a Thunderbolt 5 140 W charging upstream port, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 10 Gb/s Type-C port and two USB 3.2 Gen 2 10 Gb/s Type-A ports. There is also an on/off button and a 3.5 mm audio jack. On the back of the PG25 Pro Dock, there are three Thunderbolt 5 (15 W) downstream ports and another USB 3.2 Gen 2 10 Gb/s Type-C port. In addition, there is a 2.5 GbE high-speed Ethernet port and the DC-in connector for the included AC mains power adapter. The PG25 Pro Dock comes with a high-quality certified Thunderbolt 5 cable to ensure the maximum performance possible as well.

Other features

The PG25 Pro Dock supports up to two 8K 60 Hz or three 4K 144 Hz displays. ProGrade Digital is also launching optional 4K and 8K HDMI female to USB-C male adapter cables. These can be used with the dock to connect high-resolution monitors. The PG25 Pro Dock is compatible with Windows 11+ and MacOS 11+, as well as Thunderbolt 4, USB 4.0 and other USB-C devices.

Also, you get a two-year warranty, and each dock contains a unique serial number to ensure best-in-class after-sales support.
