Acer’s announced three new gaming monitors from the Predator and Nitro lines. These monitors look to satisfy both pro gamers, like the Predator XB273U NX, and casual gamers who play for fun.
Let’s take a look at these three monitors.
Acer Predator XB273U NX

According to Acer, the Predator XB273U NX is a gaming monitor that allows for a cutting-edge gaming experience. It’s a 27-inch monitor that sports a WQHD 2560 x 1440 panel, 275 Hz refresh rate overclocked, and up to a 0.5 ms response time. This all should allow for “smooth” and “tear-free” visuals, even during fast-moving action.
Additionally, the monitor supports HDR and covers 95% of the DCI-P3 spectrum. That should result in vibrant colors and deeper blacks. It’s also supported by Acer’s Agile-Splendor IPS technology, which should create clear images on the screen.
To help protect gamers and creators’ eyes, who spend a long time looking at their screens, the Predator XB273U NX features the Acer Visionaire 4.0. This is a suite of technologies that help protect users’ eyes during long sessions.
Acer Predator XB323QK NV

Moving on from the Predator XB273U NX, the Predator XB323QK NV is a 31.5-inch NIDIA G-SYNC Compatible UHD gaming monitor. It comes with a 144 Hz refresh rate and a DCI-P3 90% Wide Color Gamut. Additionally, the monitor includes Agile Splendor IPS and a VESA DisplayHDR” 400 certification. The Predator XB323QK NV also features the Acer Visionaire 4.0.
Acer Nitro XV282K KV

From the Nitro monitor line, the Nitro XV282K KV features 4K UHD 3840 x 2160 IPS panel. Additionally, it sports a 100,000,000:1 contrast ratio and covers 90% of the DI-P3 wide color gamut. The Nitro XV282K KV, with the FreeSync Premium technology, features a 144 Hz refresh rate panel that has a 1 ms response time.
The monitor comes with a HDMI 2, Acer HDR 400, and liquid crystal IPS.
