Logitech launches two products for content creators

Under its Logitech For Creators brand, Logitech has launched two new products to take your streaming and content creation to new levels. The Logitech Litra Beam is a desktop LED key light designed for streaming. Alongside the new light, the Logitech Blue Sona is an active dynamic XLR microphone that gives your streams studio-quality sound.

Litra Beam

The Logitech Litra Beam has a three-way adjustable desktop stand. This means you can change the height, tilt and rotation to shape and direct the light to suit your setup. You also get three 3 ¼-20 mounts for maximum flexibility. The Litra Beam has a frameless diffuser that radiates wide light to eliminate harsh shadows. In addition, the Litra Beam is powered via USB and comes with a 5-foot USB-C to USB-A cable.

The Litra Beam is a bi-color light with a temperature range from 2,700 K to 6,500 K, allowing you to match the output to your room’s ambient lighting, whether it’s daylight or artificial. Using the buttons on the back of the Litra, you can quickly access five preset color temperature settings (warm candlelight to cool blue). Alternatively, the light gives you continuous, stepless adjustment through the entire range to fine-tune the color.

The Litra Beam uses Logitech’s TrueSoft technology to deliver balanced full-spectrum LED light. The company says this means cinematic color accuracy for a natural, radiant look across all skin tones. The Litra Beam has a maximum output of 320 lumens optimized for streaming. As with color temperature, you can also choose between five brightness presets or move steplessly through the entire range.

The Logitech G HUB desktop app gives you even more control over the Litra Beam. For example, you can adjust the fixture’s brightness by percentage values. You can also enter a color temperature in Kelvin. In addition, with the app, you can control more than one Litra Beam and manage lighting presets. G HUB gives creators total control over their Logitech streaming gear, including Litra Glow, Blue Yeti mics and StreamCam.

Blue Sona

The Logitech Blue Sona is an active dynamic XLR microphone with built-in ClearAmp technology. This feature delivers a strong +25 dB gain boost, meaning you don’t need an external mic booster. Blue Sona also includes a dual-diaphragm capsule and supercardioid pickup pattern. With that pickup pattern, the microphone will focus on your voice and reduce unwanted vibrations, key clicks and background noise.

Color options

The Blue Sona has a 290-degree swivel mount, so you can place the mic wherever you need it in your desktop setup. You can buy the microphone in graphite and off-white color options. In addition, the Blue Sona has interchangeable windscreens in red and graphite.

The Litra Beam key light and Blue Sona microphone from Logitech look ideal if you want to improve the look and sound of your livestreams and online content. The Litra Beam is also certified safe for all-day streaming, passing even the strictest UL testing guidelines. This is great for gamers who might be online for long sessions. The color options and interchangeable windscreens with the Blue Sona are a nice touch as well.

Pricing and availability

The Logitech Litra Beam desktop LED key light and Blue Sona active dynamic XLR microphone are available now. The Litra Beam retails at $99, and the Blue Sona costs $349.
