Hollyland reveals new Mars M1 Enhanced all-in-one transmitter, receiver and monitor solution

Hollyland has launched its latest wireless monitoring product, the Hollyland Mars M1 Enhanced. Described as an all-in-one solution, the Mars M1 Enhanced integrates a transmitter, receiver and monitor into a single unit.

All in one

The Mars M1 Enhanced is an all-in-one transmitter, receiver and monitor solution. You can switch between the transmitter and receiver modes on the monitoring screen. One transmitter can also work with up to two receivers or four mobile apps. In addition, the Mars M1 Enhanced can be used together with other Hollyland products such as the Mars Pro and 4K. This means you can reduce the number of devices you need for a more efficient shooting experience.

The Mars M1 Enhanced features a 5.5-inch touch LCD screen with up to 1,000 nits of brightness. The display undergoes a professional color calibration during manufacturing so you can rely on the images you see. It also supports the Rec. 709 color gamut for excellent color rendition. In addition, you can use five selectable 3D LUT presets to customize the monitor to your preferred look. The Mars M1 Enhanced has all the tools you need to ensure that you capture great footage. These include waveform, LUTs, zebras, aspect marks, anamorphic de-squeeze and image flip.

Transmission range

Hollyland says that the Mars M1 Enhanced has a LOS (line of sight) range of 450 feet (150 meters) under laboratory conditions. This means you are likely to experience shorter distances in real-world use cases. However, it’s still an impressive indication of the device’s range. It also has an ultra-low latency of 0.08 seconds. In addition, the Mars M1 Enhanced has a Smart Channel Scan feature. Smart channel scan helps determine which channels are occupied so a stable connection is possible automatically at startup.

In addition, you can power the device with a wide range of options including NP-F batteries, batteries with a D-Tap interface and DC power options from 7V to 16V.
