Along with a slew of other desktops and laptops, Dell is showing off several new UltraSharp monitors this week at CES 2023. Among these is the new Dell UltraSharp 32 6K Monitor.
Resolution and color
Aside from its impressive 6K resolution, this new monitor offers a wealth of perks for the content creator. The Dell UltraSharp 32 6K is compatible with both Windows and Mac operating systems and promises clear details and accurate colors. Its 6K resolution gives the monitor 150 percent more pixels than monitors with a 4K resolution. The monitor also features VESA DisplayHDR 600.
In addition, the new monitor features IPS Black technology, which promises to increase the depth of blacks the monitor can reproduce. A Dell study showed that ISP Black technology offers 41 percent deeper black levels and 1.2 times better color accuracy than conventional IPS monitors.
With all of this, Dell says the UltraSharp 32 6K monitor targets graphic designers, engineers and data scientists.
Video conferencing features
For video conferencing, the UltraSharp 32 6K monitor features a built-in dual gain HDR 4K webcam. Dell says the webcam offers improved performance in lower light conditions. The camera also includes automatic SafeShutter, and to further improve the video call experience, the built-in mic has echo-cancellation. The monitor also features dual 14 W speakers. For convenience, the monitor features front-facing port access. Connection options include DisplayPort 2.1 and Thunderbolt 4, among others.
What else is new?
Also announced this week are the Dell UltraSharp 34 Curved USB-C Hub Monitor and the Dell UltraSharp 43 4K USB-C Hub Monitor.
The UltraSharp 34 Curved features a WQHD resolution with ISP Black technology. The monitor allows you to connect and display content from two PCs via a built-in KVM switch. It also features integrated dual 5W speakers. The UltraSharp 43 4K Monitor allows you to connect up to four different PCs and view all four inputs at once.
Additionally, Dell says these monitors contain up to 85 percent post-consumer recycled Plastics and up to 90 percent recycled aluminum. This is in alignment with Dell’s mission to become a leader in environmental sustainability.
Pricing and availability
The Dell UltraSharp 32 6K monitor will be available in early 2023, with the Dell UltraSharp 34 Curved USB-C Hub Monitor and the Dell UltraSharp 43 4K USB-C Hub Monitor available at the end of January 2023.
