At CES 2023, ASUS introduced what they call the world’s first 3D OLED laptop. The ASUS Vivobook Pro 16x 3D OLED laptop features a 16-inch 3.2K 120Hz 3D OLED Dolby Vision display.

Powering the Vivobook Pro 16X 3D OLED
Inside, the ASUS Vivobook Pro 16X 3D OLED has the latest Intel core HX55 desktop-level processor and Nvidia GeForce graphics. The system can be configured with up to the Intel Core I9-13980HX processor and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 laptop GPU with NVIDIA Studio driver support. The ASUS Vivobook Pro 16x also offers up to 64 GB of DDR5 RAM and up to 2TB of m.2 SSD storage.
Powering the system is a 90WH battery. Plus, an onboard MUX switch lets you switch between using the GPU for full performance or going to Hybrid mode for extended battery life. For cooling, it uses ASUS’s IceCool Pro thermal technology with dual fans and four vents. ASUS promises this will keep the system cool and quiet.

3D OLED?
The new Vivobook’s 16-in screen offers a 16:10 aspect ratio and has an 88.6% screen-to-body ratio. It also offers an impressive 0.2 millisecond response time and a 120Hz refresh rate. Its color gamut covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space. Additionally, the monitor is Pantone validated and averages a delta-E <2 color accuracy. Brightness tops out at 550 nits.
Living up to its 3D moniker, the display also features ASUS Spatial Vision Technology. With this autostereoscopic 3D OLED technology, you can experience 3D entertainment without wearing special glasses.

Other perks
The Vivobook Pro 16 x also features the unique ASUS DialPad, which can be customized for a number of uses in different creative apps. Connectivity options include dual Thunderbolt 4 ports as well as an SD card reader. ASUS enhances the audio experience with Dolby Atmos audio.
