At CES 2021, ViewSonic is announcing its new 8K 32-inch ColorPro monitor, dubbed the VP3286-8K. This monitor is being positioned as a pro creator display for photographers.
The ViewSonic VP3286-8K is a 32-inch display with native 8K resolution. It comes with wide Adobe RGB color coverage and industry color standards including sRGB and Rec709. ViewSonic claims the monitor is capable of displaying the “most critical mods of detail”, which positions it as a monitor made for photographers and creators in general.
“The ViewSonic ColorPro series consistently delivers a display solution for the most demanding users who rely on image quality,” said Phong Phanel, vertical marketing manager of professional displays for ViewSonic Americas.
What does the VP3286-8K come with?
When purchasing the VP3286-8K, those buying will receive the monitor along with a small puck. This puck acts as a calibration device. A module is also included, which acts as a backlight for photo editing. Additionally, the monitor comes with a thunderbolt 3, DisplayPort and a USB hub as well.
Color-blind mode
Color Blind simulation mode is integrated into the ViewSonic VP3286-8K. This mode is meant for creators who are hyper-sensitive or lack sensitivity to various colors. So, the feature lets creators simulate color blindness and adjust the monitor’s color. Also, in an advanced mode, color-blind creators can adjust the monitor’s images and colors, allowing them to see colors and details.
