At CES 2020, the newly announced Acer ConceptD 7 Ezel Pro is our pick for the show’s Best Mobile Workstation. The new updated version of the ConceptD 7 is above all mobile workstations this year at CES.
The ConceptD 7 Ezel Pro already has a strong foundation to stand on. The previous model, the ConceptD 7, is unmatched by any other portable laptop on the market. It offers impressive performance that makes it a great fit for all levels of graphic designers, filmmakers and creators. It is so impressive that it’s the current holder of our Best Portable Laptop category.
ConceptD 7 Ezel Pro overview
The new model features up to up to a 10th Gen Intel Core i7 processor. Additionally, it offers up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 graphics with Max-Q Design, up to 32GB of DDR4 memory and up to 2TB of PCIe SSD storage. “Creators can quickly edit and render videos or create 3D animations and showcase their work in real-time,” says Acer. Also, the ConceptD 7 Ezel Pro features an Intel Xeon 2286M processor, up to an NVIDIA Quadro RTX5000 GPU and ECC memory support.
Moving onto the notebook’s display, the notebook has a 4K IPS display. This display includes integrated color correction tech. Acer says it’s been tested and calibrated to “deliver superior fidelity” in reproducing the PANTONE Matching System (PMS) Colors. What does that mean for the machine? Essentially, this technology should ensure “true-to-life” color reproduction with a 100% Adobe RGB color gamut and a color accuracy of Delta E <2.
Additionally, the notebook’s touch screen display can be written on with the Wacom EMR pen. The glass of the display is made from Gorilla Glass 6. It also includes an anti-glare coating for brighter images on the display when used outdoors.
The Acer ConceptD 7 Ezel Pro is priced at $2,699. You can catch the notebook at this year’s CES show.
