Hi everyone. I have been looking to buy a workstation solely for video editing. I am shooting 1080p XAVC-S and need to use mainly Premeire Pro (and some After Affects occasionally). I don't know much about computer hardware details so I have done some research. A salesman at ADK Video Editing said that this (http://www.adkvideoediting.com/systems/system_review.cfm?saved_id=39810(link is external)) meets the minimum requirements for my needs.
That is a little above my budget and after some research, I find VERY similar machines on bhphotovideo.com for half the price tag. What exactly do I need to run Premiere Pro smoothly and occasionally After Effects?
So far I think I need:
Intel Core i7-4790K Quad-Core
16GB DDR3 SDRAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 (2GB GDDR5)
2TB 7200 rpm SATA III HDD & 120GB SSD
Do I need to spend over $2500 on a machine? Or can I buy something with those specs above from bhphotovideo.com for a much cheaper price and be satisfied
Looking for any help at all and thanks in advance!

That looks like a decent build to me. For the other price you are getting WD black drives which are very reliable. You are also getting life time support which is far faster than posting on forums and waiting. The GTX 960 isn't listed on the Adobe site, probably too new. Does it have the outputs you need for your monitor? I read on another forum how some recommend the 970Ti, you may wish to check that out. Read this toohttps://forums.adobe.com/thread/1683474
