Sennheiser are extremely popular world wide – there are plenty of other quality equipment brands – Shure, Lectronsonics, AT, Line 6, AKG, Beyer, Trantec, and lots more. Generally, once you get above $400, the quality is pretty good, reliability ok, and resale value holds. All of them are nearly as good as a $10 cable!
