What is "feature length"? Seems there is some debate as to the official answer. The Sonnyboo Podcast explores the various results with this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XMR8X3xlxlQ
It's a really important question, particularly when you start to work on a project intended to be a short and then you realize you have a lot more to say. A professor of mine said a short film is a sketch or blueprint whereas a feature is the more complete product. Dunno if that's fitting but I enjoyed this post:) Thanks!
Thanks. I think short films are an analogy more to short stories, because there are some fully formed stories in the short form, but it's so subjective.
Definitely. If I ever struggle with writing a short screenplay I write it as a short story first to figure out the plot:)
