ParticipantHello people, i wonder if i can get some help from you guys. I have been filming a few weddings recently for friends with my Nikon D5100. I have felt that my productions would highly benefit from using a second camera. I have been looking into amater/professional camcorders within a budget of £1000 to £1500 for a second hand camcorder. I have been advised to look for ones with 3CCD, good in low light conditions and with two mic inputs. Can anyone who knows or films weddings recommend a camcorder that i could look into buying? And also advise in choosing a handheld or shoulder mount camcorder? Thanks a lot. Tony

MemberHi Tony – at your price point, I recommend the Canon XA10. It has two XLR mic inputs, and good perfromance in low light. You can buy one for £1493 new from capitalstores in Manchester via eBay UK.
Here is what this camera can do:
Yes, this is a CMOS camera, but there aren't that many modern CCD cameras out there in your price range.
Hope this is helpful!
