Videomaker Inc. is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead in developing software solutions for our website, mobile apps, and internal tools. You will get to help lead the way in growing our international audience through innovative development.
The Opportunity:
– Design, develop, and maintain the existing Videomaker website.
– Manage technical integrations with third-party solutions.
– Manage a small technical team and third-party contractors.
– Exhibit team leadership while remaining hands-on in development.
– Oversee the budget for the engineering department.
Requirements:
– BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
– Senior-level hands-on experience in the full development lifecycle of web development–from requirements analysis, to deployment and bug fixes.
– 3+ years hands-on professional development experience.
– 1+ year experience in successful team technical leadership.
– Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
– Basic understanding of the technical infrastructure for a small office (e.g., routers, servers)
– While not required, preference will be given to candidates with experience in the following technologies: PHP, Drupal, jQuery, MySQL, AWS, and Linux.
Benefits:
