Video recorded on mute

Okay, so I had someone recording a video and they were using a external mic which they forgot to turn on. Is there any way to save or get audio????

No – it wasn’t recorded so nothing to recover – sorry.

If the interview was short enough you might use a text crawl. It would look strange, no doubt about it, but it might salvage the piece. I had to do this once with a toast to the bride and groom at a wedding.

By the way, ALWAYS wear a headset when recording; this will prevent a multitude of audio glitches.
