Video match/sports analysis creation

Hi everybody; last months i was asked to produce video analysis of sports events creating images and footages together in front of monthly paid fee.
I would like to understand if it is possible to download videos from You Tube and internet, working on them (cutting, creating drawings on shoots, editing on it, putting voiceovers and new png training exercises in them) and exporting a completely new video to be send the website which asked them to me. Is that a legals creation process? Or there are any other riskless ways to work? waiting for your kind reply, thanks Luca
