ParticipantI would like to know, what is the camera brand represented here, and how can I log and transfer this stuff? What plugin do I need? Or is it more a problem of the way the files are named and structured on the disk?
Here's the image link showing the file paths:

Your help is much appreciated.

ParticipantBrian, thanks.
I tried to import via all the XML files that are on Disk1, but FCP ask me a "translation file". I don't understand what it means by that. I went to the Apple developper site but didn't find anything.

ParticipantAfter watching this video http://youtu.be/z8TEHkZl8B0 I realized that I don't have a FCP XML file.
I do have a FCP project file, but when I open it, the sequence is empty.

ParticipantThe video files are Apple XDCAM. Does anyone know what a .XMF file is? It's video, I can play it back on VLC player, but FCP won't accept, MPEG Streamclip neither, but it's the only video file that has decent audio.

ParticipantI'm pretty sure you meant .MXF which is a Sony XDCAM file format. Assuming you have all the original files from the card. try using XDCAM EX ClipBrowser (it's free) to rewrap them into something a Mac can understand.
If that doesn't work, try Pavtube MXF Converter for Mac ($29.00 and a trial is availble).
