      Hello.

Shooting a rowing race soon. I will be on a boat following the races with a JVC GY-HM200 and a Manfrotto 502 tripod.

Any idea if there’s a gyro mount I can put between the camera and the tripod head, to minimize shaking from the water?

      Thank.

There is – but they are heavy and mega expensive. A Manfrotto is probably not up to the job. A gimbal mount and smaller camera could be useful if you want the horizon to remain horizontal. A gyro won’t help with vibration, just keeping the horizon level. Popular gyros for your size camera roll in at around three grand, although you might be able to hire one.
