Apparently the Canon XA10 does not store timecode info, nor do I see anything helpful in Adobe Premiere's Metadata panel. ANy suggestions on how to best organize/manage footage?
Should I use a iPad clapper app and shoot the screen of that before each take?
What would you recommend for a 2 camera shoot?
Thanks.
For 2 and 3 dslr camera shoots I show the clapper to all cameras, read out the scene and take numbers and then clap, the clapper, as loud as possible and pause so it's easy to find the audio peak in post. Works great.
Thanks. Doesn't sound like any high-tech way to do this if the camera itself isn't wireless and doesn't record timecode.
