I just installed a "Samsung Electronics 840 Pro Series 2.5-Inch 256 GB SATA 6GB/s Solid State Drive MZ-7PD256BW" on my Dell Precision T1700 Workstation running Microsoft Windows 8 and Adobe Creative Cloud. I plan to use the SSD strictly for editing video with Adobe Premiere Pro CC. Should I format the drive using NTFS or exFAT?
Thank you for your help!
I'd suggest NTFS. exFAT's primary benefit is interoperability between Windows and Mac. The choice would be exFAT if the SSD is external, and you plan on carrying it between Windows and Mac computers.
Thank you very much for your help, Laguna!
