Special FX video help!!

Hey guys,
I am making a video for my sisters sweet 16 party and I need some assistance with the video effects. I am pretty good with editing in premiere and capable of using After effects.

In the video my sister finds a magic wand and she begins to play with it doing tricks. The effect that I am looking to create is one where my sister uses the wand to draw a large circle in the air and then she can step into it and be gone. I am not sure what I would even call this effect to google it and find a way to do it.

Any other cool things that she can do with the wand that would be easy video effects would definitely help.
