I shoot closeup fly tying videos with a Sony Cam HDR-PJ10 mounted on a Tripod.  It works well for me but it is too big.

I set the camera between myself and the fly tying vise and have to reach around the camera to tie and awkward at best.

I have seen a small camcorder (about the size of a roll of quarters) used for fly tying videos but don't know the make of the camcorder.

I bought a Replay PrimeX but found that it won't focus well fairly close in and that it shot such a wide angle that I got the walls and surrounding area instead of just the fly I was tying.

I'm at a loss for what to buy? Any suggestions?
