How would you seamlessly edit many videos together without it looking “choppy”. The idea would be a guy eating the same bowl of cereal, as he gets closer to finishing his hair and beard are getting longer. All in one shot from the front. No multiple angles or cuts.
Perhaps the most important thing is to keep the eyes matched from shot to shot. Use a very short dissolve — try two or three frames to start; you may have to slow the dissolve down a bit by adding more frames.
