      Hi

i have been asked to shoot some video tutorials for some online courses. In many of them, i need to shoot the teacher talking in camera and from time to time switch to the computer screen to show what he’s doing.

What is the best way to do this?

The first solution that comes to my mind is use screenflow or similar on the computer, sync the 2 clips in post and use the multicam features in FCP X to cut between those 2.

Is there a better way? Maybe a way to do it live?

      Thanks

I would refer you camtasia if you are doing screening from your desktop ! its free for 30 days and you got basic editing features and effects!
