Press Box Filming

Hey Everyone,
I am a high school student and I now film every basketball and football game for my school. Now my current camcorder just doesn’t work that well and I have been saving up for some new gear. I would love some input on what would be a good new camera to purchase. I have saved up a good bit of money to put towards a new or used camera, but the cheaper the better. I need to be able to record onto SD cards and would like good quality as well. I would like to get something that doesn’t feel cheap either.

Any suggestions are appreciated.
