I have noticed that my camcorder is not that good at capturing video when the sun is out, or outdoors in general. The quality is very good indoors but when I film landscapes etc is becomes a significant decrease in sharpness.
I am not very experienced with outdoor filming. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this might be?
My guess is that your camcorder can’t handle the greatly increased amount of light very well. Go to your local photo store and try a few different ND filters and see if that helps. Hopefully your lens will let you use the screw in models of these filters.
