I use Cyberlink Power Director 10 for my editing.

      1) if I use two video formats in editing such as PAL and NTSC and the final rendering is in PAL format, does the NTSC videos in the editing are of less quality?

      2) After I have rendered some videos in editing and then use the rendered file again to change brightness for the whole video, does the quality suffers? I do not think so because it is digital and not analog. Am I correct?

      Thanks.

      1) If you mix PAL and NTSC, there is no quality loss in the final output, as far as I know. At least not if you edit with Premire Pro.

      2) It is better to render in AVI format if you will be doing some primary color corection for the entire sequence. Then if you render back to DVD format you will not lose quality. Hope it helps.
