ParticipantWhats the oppinion from this light kit. Using it for interviews. Not a constant thing I do, but when I do, I'd like to have it look "lit". This is realy maxing my budget for lights. Thanks for your help.

MemberWhy do you want to use a pair of 750 watt open-faced quartz lights? They'll run pretty dang hot . . . and OH! Did you read that they have a COOLING FAN?? You want a couple fans running on your set?

ParticipantRick is right. Those are stupid, bright, hot and loud. I'd rather have one good light than two that don't fit my purpose. Look around on ebay for used Mole or Arri fresnels.

MemberFor you limited budget you might consider: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2400W-3-LIGHT-PHOTO-VIDEO-STUDIO-SOFTBOX-LIGHTING-KIT-/330580569455?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4cf8232d6f OR something like it. The bigger the softbox and the closer you can work em, the better. I would prefer to have three instruments over just two.

MemberI recently purchased LED lights that use AA-batteries and I love them. They came with stands and I place difusers on them, total of about $ 110. for both.
