I recently purchased a Retro Scan HD Pro from Movie Stuff to transfer 8 and super 8 mm film to video. It has a few ways to export the capture and one is by numbered image sequence. The files can be jpeg, png, bmp or tif. The instructions says the image sequence can be imported as one group into most NLE systems where it will automatically string the frames together to create a video file using the codec that is unique to that system. Anyone know a NLE program that supports image sequences? Anyone with experience with this? Thanks
I know Vegas Pro does because I do it all the time, as recently as a few days ago with an image sequence from After Effects.
I think Vegas Movie Studio (a LOT cheaper) will do it too but I have no experience with that version so I can't say for sure.

Thanks Mike.
