I have a video taken with a cell phone. Is there a way to edit it to make it look as if it were taken from further away or even through a window?
In order to make it look like it was taken from further away, it would have to be taken from further away. The subject has to be smaller, which means that you would have to zoom out. There's no way to zoom out if the video was already taken up close. That can't be fixed in post.
As far as making it look like it was taken through a window, that can be done in compositing software, such as Adobe After Effects. Just take another shot of your window, then mask it. Then put the subject shot under the shot of your window. This can really be done with any editing software, but you'll get more finesse and fine-tuning from After Effects.
