Hi. I’m in my mid-50s, have a couple years experience with DLSRs, and currently wanting to learn about professional video cameras that are ideal for wildlife film making. I’ve watched a few intro videos that gave me a overview, but I really need to find sources that would give me a really good understanding of video cameras so that I can make an informed decision when I buy. I can’t afford a $25,000 camera, but might be able to do $5,000. Prosumer? One feature that I want is to be able to turn switch into slow motion at the flick of a switch, or turn of a knob, during recording. I’m not even certain that is possible. Lots to learn. Can you recommend some reading materials? Thanks.
