New News videojournalist looking for advice

I am currently working at a local news station. I enjoy working with video and doing stories, but have run into some problems. I am having problems with reporters and producers. I was curious if anyone working in news has had this problem. Also I was curious about a career jump. What are my options when it comes to video production. I love news, but the hours are starting to get to me. Maybe I should just stick it out. If anyone has advice please help.
