I'm running Premiere Pro CC on a 64-bit Windows 7 machine with 8GB RAM and a basic video card that the Mercury Playback Engine can't use. Rendering is painfully slow. I don't want to put any more money into the machine, because I'm going to convert over to Mac sometime in the next twelve months.

So, Here's my question: Can you suggest any Premiere Pro (or Windows) setting tweaks that might help my rendering speed? Thanks.

I use Sony Vegas and have the same problem. Applying any kind of FX from Magic Bulllet slows my renders down a lot πŸ™
